Dean has been actively instructing and coaching Watersports since 2013. Starting down the instructional route and becoming an RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor, having windsurfed since the mid 1980’s. Gaining further experience progressed Dean to become an Intermediate Planing Windsurfing Instructor and also a Senior Instructor.

Spending time instructing School groups, Adults and more recently 1 to 1 sessions at Alton WaterSports Centre and for the Sea Cadets

Moving on to gain further qualifications in Paddle Sport as a British Canoeing Level 2 Coach in Kayak, Canoe, SOT and SUP and more recently Paddle Sport Tutor guiding and assessing people to become Instructors.

Dean also gained the RYA Powerboat Instructor qualification teaching and assessing Powerboat L1 and L2 and Safety Boat for the Sea Cadets and Anglian Water at Alton Watersports Centre.

In March 2024 Dean achieved the RYA Instructor Qualification in Wingsurfing and Wingfoiling, First Flights and Sustained Flights at the OTC in Weymouth.

Dean has windsurfed and wing foiled at some amazing destinations around the world and is eager to share his expertise and knowledge on the water.
